JAG RESEARCH SOLICITATION

 

The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) announces the avail ability of $800,000 in federal Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds for research and evaluation grants through the Research, Evaluation, Data Coll ection, and Advisory Committee (REDAAc.) REDAAC promotes the funding of effective justice programs in Pennsylvania through data coll ection, data cleansing, and the preparation of effective research for policy makers, program managers, and justice practitioners. Under this sol icitation, funds are being made avail able to support research in the following targeted areas as well as an "open" research category:
• Use of Risk Assessment for Bail and Pre-trial Release Decision-Making;
• Partnership-Based Violence Prevention Policing Strategies;
• Juvenile Probation Officer Motivational Interviewing;
• Drug & Alcohol/Restricted Intermediate Punishment Programs;
• Open Research Category.
